Sales Consultant Athlone Cape Town

Our well reputed established construction client in Athlone Cape Town is looking for an Account Manager / Sales Consultant to manage, nurtures and grown the excising client base of clients selling construction products and services. Also, to sell to New Clients looking for Construction Services and Products.

Salary + Petrol (one tank a week) + Cell phone (you need your own car) Commission will given on New Business – to be discussed.

Min Requirements

Matric (ESSENTIAL)

Computer literate (ESSENTIAL)

Preferably 3 years external sales / account management experience

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

 

Job Requirements:

Account Manager to existing clientele 90/10 (90% existing business / 10% New Business)

New Business needed when required and is not the sole responsibility of this role

Visit and upsell of products and services.

Assets Construction work that needs to be done

Quality assessment of current construction sites

Impeccable aptitude and willingness to learn and follow a set way of doing things

Be able to source new clients and follow up on leads

Cold Calling

Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs.

Experience in responding to tenders and RFQ’s – advantageous not necessary
