Restaurant Manager Paarl Cape Town

Our Upmarket (not fine dining) restaurant and events client in Paarl is looking for a strong ambitious passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. Must have an energetic hospitality / restaurant personality. Need to be able to work shifts and manage the Restaurant including FOH, takeaways and events.  Must be willing to take over if general manager is on leave or away.

Salary Negotiable – working one weekend on and on weekend off 

Min Requirements

  • Matric
  • 3-5 years in Managing a Restaurant including FOH, being involved in the BOH, takeaways, and Events (120-seater)
  • Must have events experience
  • Must be well-presented & enthusiastic
  • Have own, reliable transport and license
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans


  • Manage and oversee the FOH (120 seaters) during restaurant hours and functions (small to medium functions
  • Manage Restaurant staff including FOH, BOH, and events staff
  • Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the outlets are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
  • Responsible for daily deposits, and the correct operation of the POS systems – Lightspeed
  • Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS
  • From time to time manage entire restaurant when GM is not around
  • Assist with overall ordering and operations
