Procurement and Shipping Administrator Cape Town
Our Client in manufacturing is looking for a Procurement and Shipping Administrator with 3 years’ experience.
Salary negotiable plus benefits
Min Requirements
Grade 12
Procurement / Shipping Qualification
Minimum of 3-5 years procurement / shipping experience
Banking foreign payments experience/courses
Imports experience/course
Foreign Exchange Contracts knowledge
SARS procedures
State Vet procedures
Job Requirements
You will have experience in the placements of raw materials, you will receive and approve Proformas/Sales
Establish Letter of Credits
Liaising with clearing agents and ensuring Clearing documents are in place.
Tracking containers and maintaining a schedule for shipments.
Attend to all necessary documentation relating to Imports. e.g. Dept Agriculture Permits, ITAC.
Purchasing
Determine requirements based on history as well as customer forecasts.
Following up on progress of orders.
Ensuring delivery takes place as agreed/requested.
Meeting new local suppliers for potential business.
Ensuring quality of product is maintained.
