Digital Marketing Officer Claremont Cape Town

Our fintech client based in Claremont Cape Town is looking for a Digital Marketing Officer / Digital marketing specialist 5 years’ of experience in Digital Marketing but must come from a technology / IT Software / telecommunication industry. Email specialist experience is essential as well. 

Salary: Very Negotiable

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing an advantage or similiar 
• 5 years of experience as Digital Marketer Officer / Marketing Specialsit 
• Experience in executing paid social media campaigns
• Ability to manage content management systems
• Experience in content writing/blogs / articles
• Knowledge and experience in SEO optimisation
• Knowledge of content management systems
• Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Adobe
• Experience with emailing and monitoring – marketing 
• Must be very creative and attention to detail orientated 

Responsibilities:

• Create, review and implement all digital marketing for the company 
• Oversee 2 marketing staff members in the department
• Responsible for online presence
• Social Media – All platforms
• Coordinate with management and outsourced marketing companies to create marketing material and campaigns
• Analyse digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization
• Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
• Maintain digital dashboard of several different accounts
• Prepare emails to send out to customers
