Financial Accountant Bellville Cape Town

Our manufacturing production client in Bellville Cape Town is looking for a Financial Accountant with 5 years experience. You need to be SAIPA, SAICA or AGA(SA) qualified.

Salary up to R 600 000 per annum

Requirements:

BCom(Acc), BAcc, CIMA (with Accounting subjects) or other recognized accounting degree/qualification

At least 5 years of financial accounting experience preferably from the manufacturing, production, or engineering industry.

Must be proficient in SAGE, Pastel and advanced Excel. Need to be well experienced in Financial Reviews and reporting.

Must have SAIPA/SAICA/AGA(SA)

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting duties overseeing an Accountant, 2 Bookkeepers, Clerks and a Payroll clerk

Cashbooks, bank reconciliations, and allocation of deposits.

Full Debtors & Creditors Reviews and reporting

Review and reporting of all trial balances and annual financial statements.

Assist with preparation of management accounts.

Assist with the external audit process.

Assist in compiling departmental budgets.

Prepare Monthly management accounts

Dealing with cashflow management and budgets

Performing VAT calculations, reconciliations, submissions and payments on a cash basis.

Keeping the suppliers list up to date.

Processing of payments on Standard Bank’s business online payments.

Ledger accounts reconciliations.

Completing and submitting vendor forms.

Communication with all relevant stakeholders.

Replying to all financial queries.

To provide support to the finance manager.
