Job Description
Raw Material Planner Bellville
Our client seeks the expertise of a Raw Materials Planner with 4-6 years experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing Raw Material Planning tasks, ensuring alignment with procurement and production timelines, and ensuring the delivery of materials to meet customer demands.
Salary: Market Related CTC
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Planning qualification (SAPICS/APICS) is advantageous.
4-6 years’ experience specializing in Imported Raw Materials.
Chemical industry experience
Working knowledge of INCOTERMS, Shipping Lead Times, and Constraints.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP), and ERP systems (SAP, IFS).
Key Duties:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement and production timelines.
Plan and expedite Materials Requirement Planning for Raw Materials, Purchased Finished Goods, or Direct Packaging Material categories.
Analyse production schedules and sales data to determine raw material needs, ensuring timely ordering and delivery.
Track material usage trends and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
Address material-related issues and follow up with the Purchasing Manager on agreed KPIs.
