Our Client is looking for a capable Marketing and Communications Coordinator in Foreshore Cape Town
Job Description The aim of the marketing and communications coordinators position is to have an individual who is well versed in and knowledgeable of the broad scope of marketing and communications methods and tools, with a special interest in the digital communications arena and social media sphere.
The individual must be a confident self-starter, thorough practitioner with attention to detail, good writer, and preferably some training and experience with design of standard marcoms and social media productions. Candidates must have an interest in impact investing and will develop a more than basic knowledge of our sector at the Company, allowing the individual to eloquently represent the company including our partners, investors, and investees online.
The responsibilities of the coordinator include: Coordinate the execution of marketing and communications planning Produce and/or manage the production of marcom’s tools, including (digital) reports, business updates, vlogs, media releases, events Design visual support tools, including powerpoint presentation and canva Infographics, for the clients team members Maintain and update the companies media library Manage relationships with marcom counterparts at relevant investors and all portfolio companies Provide intelligent content and maintain and update the clients social media accounts, website, and relevant databases Maintain and extend international media and press network Support the marketing director in managing investor relations Coordinate implementation of investors relations activities Develop and produce the annual market update for investors Attend (social media) events when necessary Remain up to date with the activities of our partners, investors, and investees Keep the Marketing & Communications director up to speed on all work related information Assist the Marketing & Communications director on other branding and marketing avenues.
