Content Marketing Specialist Century City Cape Town

  • Design and develop customer-eccentric, lead-generation focused content marketing and social media strategies along with a monthly content calendar (social & editorial)
  • Ensure content plans consider multiple channels and repurposing opportunities
  • Generate the required number of content pieces as per the social and editorial calendar – content must be SEO focused (articles, blogs, e-books, whitepapers, landing pages, video scripts)
  • Manage a content library that facilitates content repurposing
  • Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure we align to global best practice, leverage content opportunities and repurpose global content across all digital platforms
  • Develop Email Marketing and Social Media Content that Converts
  • Write and manage social media content while embracing new techniques as they emerge
  • Position the company as an opinion leader in its field through online channels.
  • Work closely with the Digital Specialist to increase web traffic and engagement across all platforms
  • Work closely with the Digital Specialist to generate leads through content marketing efforts
  • Analyse Content Marketing Performance and Optimise all content considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Guide the development of the identified key messages, so they align to the group strategy, the business development strategy and brand blueprint Content Custodian
  • Ensure consistency of the company tone of voice across digital platforms, company collateral and direct marketing material. Must follow corporate communication best practices, branding and documentation standards.
  • Be the quality custodian of content placed on all marketing platforms including, company Request for Proposals
  • Edit, proofread and ensure timely update of all company collateral
  • Assist Sales and Subject Matter Experts with the crafting of prospect and client presentations, and Adhoc communications
  • Develop and drive a process to gather, collate and curate relevant content
  • Position the company as an opinion leader in its field through online channels.
  • Stay ahead of industry standards and identify trends, frequently bringing new ideas to the table

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Copywriting, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related field. Copywriting experience preferred.
  • Digital Marketing Certificate/Diploma
  • Any Marketing Qualification, with a Content Marketing Angle. Experience
  • 5 Years’ Corporate Copywriting Experience
  • 3 Years B2B Experience Marketing to the C-suite Target Audience
  • 3 Years Multichannel Content Generation Experience (Social, Web, Email, Sales Collateral)
