Customer Support Engineer – Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
A well-established company providing solutions to the agricultural sector requires a Customer Support Engineer / Internal Sales to support the sales team, liaise with customers, coordinate and administration.
Salary: Market related. Salary package is negotiable depending on experience gained
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have completed Matric
  • Previous technical exposure is essential (preferably in the agricultural sector)
  • Previous internal sales experience is essential
  • Computer Literacy – MS Office – Ability to work in CAD would be advantageous
  • Strong planning, organizational, administration, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining data base of customer quotes and leads
  • Liaising with sales and engineering teams to define customer requirements
  • Providing price and cost proposals in response to customer requirements
  • Composing comprehensive technical documents to support pricing and cost proposals
  • Interface with customers and other company departments to handle both pre-sales and post-sales service functions
